The Milesight WS558 lighting controlleris a modernintelligent lighting moduleusing LoRaWAN communication technology. It is designed to effectivelymonitor and control electric lighting devices. Thesmart homecomponent allows you to connectup to 8 lighting circuits, while collecting precise data on voltage, power and current consumption. Using LoRaWAN technology, the controller ensures long-range data transmission, reachingup to 15 kmin open areas, which makes it an ideal solution for smart city projects. The device also facilitates the user’s configuration process thanks to short-range NFC technology, and also provides ease of management and monitoring using a free mobile application.

The Milesight light controller has been designed with modern lighting management in mind. It allows usersto control up to eight lighting circuitsin active mode. Thanks to remote control functions, users can turn on, turn off or plan lighting schedules, adapting them to their needs.
Milesight D2D
Milesight D2D is a modern communication protocol thatenables direct communication between devices without the need to use a LoRaWAN network gateway. However, to use the functions of this protocol, at least two devices are needed – one control device, sending commands and requests to other devices and one agent device that receives and responds to these requests. Energy consumption monitoring
The LN version of the Milesight smart controller offers energy monitoring andenables precise measurement of voltage, current, power and total energy consumption in kWh. With this feature, users can effectively track and manage energy consumption in their home or office.
Synchronization with the smartphone application
This product is compatible with theMilesight ToolBoxapplication for smartphones. Thanks to this integration, users can remotely monitor and configure device parameters directly from their phone. Synchronization takes place via NFC technology, which ensures quick and intuitive pairing of the device with the application. Milesight ToolBox allows convenient access to measurement data, record history and sensor configuration settings even when away from home.
LoRaWAN communication protocol
LoRaWAN is a global communication standard for IoT networks, based on LoRa technology, which is characterized by a long range. Thanks to this protocol, devices can communicate with network gateways over a distance of several kilometers in urban environments and up to several dozen kilometers in rural areas. At the same time, LoRaWAN-based devices are known for their low power consumption, making them an ideal choice for applications where batteries need to function for years without the need for recharging. In response to different network conditions, LoRaWAN can adjust the transmission rate, which helps optimize coverage and energy consumption.
